Petsies Creates Custom Stuffed Animal Versions of Your Pet

If you've been following along with our adventures during BlogPaws, you probably noticed my stuffed animal version of Shiner who I like to call "Mini Shiner". Mini Shiner got lots of attention during BlogPaws and everyone asked about her where ever I brought her along. Many people commented that they thought she was a real dog at first.

Mini Shiner may not be a real dog, but she was created to look just like my real dog - Shiner. The nice folks over at Petsies created a custom stuffed animal version of Shiner. I simply sent them a photo of my dog and they worked to create a Petsies stuffed animal version of her. During the process, Petsies sent me regular email updates to inform me on how everything was going and what step of the process they were on.

Mini Shiner is a Petsies Forevers. She was airbrushed to look exactly like the real Shiner and I have to say that they got her markings down quite well.

Since having Petsies Mini Shiner in the house, there have been some pretty funny moments. Quite a few times, I thought it was my real Shiner and had a good laugh about it.

The cats have had some interesting reactions to Mini Shiner as well. Callie does not like Mini Shiner and avoids it. Roadside on the other hand likes Petsies Mini Shiner and tries to play with her. I have to keep Mini Shiner put up or he will mess with her too much. 

Overall, I'm quite pleased with the way that my Petsies custom stuffed animal turned out. She definitely added a bit of fun to my BlogPaws trip and was a great conversation starter. I think having a custom stuffed animal version of your pet for fun events like this is a must! She is definitely something I will cherish forever.
