Snapshots on Sunday: Love

This week's theme for the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge is "Love". Perfect timing on this word since yesterday was Valentine's Day. Which we hope you all enjoyed! Our photo this week is a candy heart I found with a cute saying on it.

It says "Pugs & Kittens" - too cute! It's a shame that these candies don't taste the same as they did when I was a kid. Yellow is supposed to be banana flavored, but now they taste like a tart lemon. Yellow used to be my favorite flavor in case you couldn't tell...

What have we been up to this week? Well, Shiner started getting ready for Valentine's Day early on Wednesday. Woof you be her Valentine?

On Thursday, Shiner made a new friend. I think they may be related... they look a lot alike!

Also, on Thursday Shiner got into a bit of mischief... I went to pick my daughter up at school and came home to this small mess. Human sisfur sewed up the pillow for us.

Shiner also got some mail from Chewy.com. She literally ripped the package open herself. We'll share more about what's inside later this month.

On Friday, I went to PetSmart to pick up a couple of things. One of the things I grabbed was a package of Blue Bones made by Blue Buffalo. We'll be sharing more about these dental treats tomorrow!

This weekend, I've been busy preparing for something... or I should say someone. I had to pick up some new things at PetSmart for this someone. We'll share more details about this surprise later, but it's pretty exciting!

How has your week been? Did you have a nice Valentine's Day?

  5. Whoa! TW said she thought all those hearts tasted the same. She used to buy them every year up until the last 4 or 5. Let’s see: your arrival could be a cat, dog or rabbit are my guesses.

    1. LOL... oh yes, poor Shiner gets blasted on the internet. Good thing I'm not posting those recent pictures I took of her pooping in the yard! haha

  7. Uh-oh Shiner, making a mess for the humans to see when they return home is dicey. Luckily you cleverly made a mess that could be fixed :) Happy Belated Valentines Day to you AND the new arrival.

  8. Where did you find a heart with those words? Mom loved the banana flavor too. Why do they have to always change things up? Cute love post.

    1. It was just in a box of the Sweetheart candies. It's sad, but the flavors of the Sweetheart candies has really gone bad over the past few years... they should have just stuck with the old ones. At least they are a little better tasting this year I think.

  9. I love the photo of Shiner with her new friend. And after the hint about the surprise new someone, you know I had to read ahead. Congratulations to Callie on her new home, where I know that she is one very loved kitty!
