Back To School Fashion Inspired by Cats and Dogs

Each year when my daughter goes back to school, we do the traditional back to school shopping and update her wardrobe a little bit. I help her pick out her clothes, but for the most part she chooses what she wants. And each year, she always chooses pet or animal-themed clothing. This year was no exception and she added a few new shirts to her wardrobe featuring dogs and cats.

Our favorite place to shop for back to school clothes is Target, and that's where all of the outfits in this post are from. I'm not being paid to endorse Target or anything and they probably don't know that I exist. But, if you have kids they do have some pretty cute clothes at a good price in my opinion.

Last year, I let Lily do a back to school fashion show for the blog. This year, she wanted to do it again so I thought it would be a cute thing to share her cat and dog shirts here.

Her first outfit is an adorable kitten shirt with pink shorts to match the kitten's cute pink bow. Meow! Tennis shoes are also from Target and match the shirt purrfectly. Her Grumpy Cat notebook came from H-E-B and reads "This IS my happy face".

Cute kitten in a flowery boot, anyone? She paired it with this super cute long skirt.

Last but not least, she got an intelligent-looking French Bulldog shirt. Usually she finds some sort of shirt with a pug on it, but there were none to be found this year. Frenchies are super cute anyways.
