If you're out walking your dog in the neighborhood and you see someone about to leave their dog's poop on the ground, what should you do? I know a lot of people might mind their own business, but there are some things you could try in order to educate your fellow neighbors the importance of poop scooping.
- Offer them one of your dog waste disposal bags.
- Ask them if they are going to leave that there? (Trying a guilt trip tactic here.)
- Set up a dog waste disposal bag station in your neighborhood.
- Set a good example and scoop your own dog's poop.
If you'd like some extra dog poop bags to hand out to your neighbors while you're on Poop Patrol, then you're in luck! Today, we are giving away some dog poop bags and bag holder from our #ScoopThatPoop sponsor - EarthRated. EarthRated's PoopBags are biodegradable, lavendar scented, extra long and strong, and affordable.
To enter the giveaway, just fill out the Raffelcopter form below. The giveaway is open to US residents only. And don't forget to check out some of the other #ScoopThatPoop Poop Patrol posts from the blog hop today!

Thank you Mollie :)
DeletePicking up poop is vital for parasite control for every animal that is in the environment. Thank you for helping educate.
ReplyDeleteWe always scoop. But so many people don't. Mummy was playing dodge the poop-mines in the park the other day
ReplyDeleteSomehow, that game does not sound very fun!
DeleteThank you for the giveaway. I always scoop too, and love that these bags are biodegradable!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you! Thank you for scooping :)
DeleteWe always remove my mines, wish all people would do that. Sadly even on a dog show where everydoggy got free bags at the entrance we found pooh everywhere..... weird world, weird people....
ReplyDeleteI'd think that more people at the dog show would be willing to scoop that poop. What a shame Easy!
DeleteWe talked about giving people a bag on our blog today. And dispensers are a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWell, Miss Ann...you go about Poop Patrol in a nicer way than my Ma. Well, except that all the poop we find is unclaimed (the dogs and people have hightailed it outta there). I guess that is why Ma is now dropping signs in the poop droppings. BOL

Oz
Haha you're right Oz! I am more of the "passive aggressive" type lol... but I think your flags could be considered a little passive aggressive too maybe? Love it!
DeleteWhere we live people are pretty good in general about picking up the poop, just kids that walk the family dog never do, so Mom gets after them about it.
ReplyDeleteThat's good Emma. I guess I can see how kids might not be so great about it. I can't think of any teenager that probably wants to scoop that poop lol.
DeleteHi! Luma and I would love to participate in the giveaway! We love these poop bags! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you and Luma!
DeleteWe have done the "ask it" and we do get that "look" but they felt guilty and scooped it. Golden Glad we did our part ... and hope that they don't do it again. Golden Happy for you guys to be part of our #ScoopThatPoop and a Poop Patrol. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteGood for you Sugar! Glad those people were cooperative with you when you asked!
DeleteUs kitties always get scooped and doggies should too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's nice that you kitties get scooped on a regular basis. What kitty wants a dirty litter box anyways?
DeletePlease enter my name in the hat, I'd love to win!
ReplyDeleteI love that these poop bags are biodegradable! I want to participate in the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteAnn don't include us in the giveaway and of course we always do scoop the poop. Have a marvellous Monday.
