PetSafe has recently introduced a new Sliding Glass Pet Door that will allow your pets to come and go as they please. PetSafe is a leading innovator in pet behavior and lifestyle solutions. Their new Sliding Glass Pet Door gives pet parents a way to give their pets the freedom they desire.
I was not able to try the PetSafe Sliding Glass Pet Door myself, because I don't have a sliding glass door in my home. However, when I saw and read about the product I knew that it was something many pet parents might be interested in.
PetSafe's Sliding Glass Pet Door is perfect for families that live in condos or apartments. The pet door does not require any holes to be cut or drilled in your home. It is made to adjust and fit within your already existing sliding glass door. If you ever move to a new home, you can take Sliding Glass Pet Door with you. Having a pet door is a great way to get your pet some much needed exercise.
The PetSafe Sliding Glass Pet Door is available in 3 sizes: small, medium, and large. Here are few of the features of the pet door:
- Heavy duty aluminum frame with tempered glass.
- Weather stripping, glass sweep and closing panel included for weather resistance.
- Fits left or right sided glass doors.
- Includes two latches to enable your sliding glass door to lock.

I would like to get this for my mother-in-law; who spends half her life letting her four dogs in and out of the back door!

Sounds like this could come in handy for her!
Deleteit's a super idea and I would like to give standing ovations! It's always a challenge to destroy a door for making a pet door.... and I have some doubts if the common pet doors are safe enough... it's not the first time that someone entered a house via dog door :o( Good luck to all who can enter, that's really a fabulous must have...

Ahhhhh this is SO cool!!!!! I wish it was open to Canada too!!! Good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I so wanted one, Miss Ann but it would open to an un-fenced yard...and you know what happens to a terrier who is not fenced in and no one is watching? Gone...that Terrier would be gone...off chasing all kinds of critters. So nope, Ma won't let me have one.
ReplyDeleteOz
Aw dang! Your Ma is pretty smart though. We wouldn't want a certain little terrier to run off chasing critters!
DeleteI would like to install this for my two indoor /outdoor dogs.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very clever idea!
ReplyDeleteI would actually give this to my parents if I won it. They're dog is having accidents in the house and this might help. She is already trained to use a dog door from where she came from. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis would be gifted to my sister who has 2 rescued cats. They love going out to the screened in patio. The sliding glass door has to be left open for them which is not fun in the summer in South Florida!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! I would love to win this for our house! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart idea ! This is really cool ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteI have sliding glass doors and a screened-in porch with 2 cats that love to catch any lizards or tree frogs that make their way into the porch. I leave the sliding glass door open 8 inches for them to come in and go out so this would help solve the problem of having the door open.
ReplyDeleteThis is super cool!
ReplyDeleteMy son and daughter in law and their 6 year old triplets could really use the door. They rescued 2 4 month old black lab / great pyrenees mixed. They have a sliding glass door. The triplets open the door and forget to shut the door. They could really use the door and the dogs could go in and out to the backyard that has a 6 foot fence. That way the triplets won't leave the dog open.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. We don't have a sliding door either. And we're inside cats. But we can see how this could be really good for someone with dogs.
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty neat! We don't use a dog door, but for those that do, what a great option!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clean look - love the contemporary design. My only problem is Harley and Jax would constantly run in and out - rain or shine, day or night. I couldn't keep up with the dirt, mud and mess. But it's a great giveaway. You did a wonderful job too with the review.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how many times in one day I get up from my desk to let dogs in and out! I could get my blogging done a lot quicker with less interruptions (I'm always telling Sheba that...she's the worst one for going in and out).
ReplyDeleteI am in need of a new dog door. They are so convenient and the one I have is starting to look dingy
ReplyDeleteWe actually were looking at a similar one at Home Depot because we just adopted our 3rd dog! This would make a world of difference in our home with 3 pets and now my son starting preschool the dogs could help themselves and I wouldn't worry as much!
ReplyDeletewould be so nice not to have to get up in the hours of the night to let them out it would be a blessing to have and a treat for my dog
ReplyDeleteActually, I think my sister would really like this for her three dogs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super cool idea for a doggie door. I've never seen one adapted for a sliding glass door. When putting in a doggie door like this, does that make one of the sliding glass doors a bit shorter than the other? If I see the door correctly, the door seems to be shortened at least a foot or so.

My cat would love it
ReplyDeleteWould love to get this for my dad. He's getting older and needs something like this. He's still a strong man, he is a Marine. Thank you for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy pets loves to go back and forth between the inside of the house and the outside. It would save me the time of always having to let them outside.
ReplyDeleteI would like this sliding glass pet door so my dogs can let themselves out when I'm not home. They are in a safe secure location so this would be perfect.
